SM: I don’t have any superstitions but I’m always nervous that my fly will be unzipped when I go onstage. Q: Do you have any performance superstitions? That was the show my brother was doing in 7th grade. Q: What was the musical that had you fall in love with musicals? I loved the environment and the performance so much that when I made it to 7th grade I decided to try it myself. I was a fourth grader, and my mom had volunteered to do photography for the production, so I would go with her after school to the rehearsals. SAM MARTIN: My older brother’s 7th grade performance of The Music Man. QUESTION: Who or what inspired you to start doing theater? The Schaumburg native bring years of acting and musical theater experience to the challenging role of Lt. Sam was last seen at Summer Place as Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee in 2017.
